15. Tees – Dinsdale

24 PEGS

Qualifier Date: 04/10/2025

The middle reaches of the Tees offer a mix of swift glides and deeper pools (2ft – 8ft), ideal for classic river angling.

The seasonal migration of Dace allows for double-figure nets of quality fish, with stick float, waggler, and whip tactics being effective. Additionally, anglers may encounter roach, large perch, and resident big chub, which often respond better to ledger tackle.

Surprise catches of big bream can occur in deeper, slower stretches, especially when the river is up and colored. This creates opportunities for groundbait feeder tactics and the chance to land a rare Tees barbel.

Waders and platforms are recommended for fishing in the middle Tees.
